Chairman Kap golf under way at Wack Wack

MANILA, Philippines -  The Chairman Kap, the annual golf invitational held in honor of Dr. Lucio Tan, holds its fourth staging today with the organizing Tanduay Athletics expecting a huge field at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong.

“This annual fellowship is one way to recognize all the hard work my father has done for the company. We also recognize that all these would not have been possible without friends and partners who have been with us through the years,” said Tanduay Distillers, Inc. president Lucio “Bong” Tan Jr., referring to his father also known in the industry as “El Kapitan.”

“Chairman Kap is the perfect venue to share what we hope to accomplish with Tanduay Athletics,” added Tan.

Driven by his passion for sports, Bong Tan formed Tanduay Athletics to provide opportunities for Filipino athletes to grow and excel in their respective sports.

Tournament chairman Gerard Cantada said play will be System 36.

Giveaways and prizes include Usana products, gift certificates, gadgets and round trip tickets from PAL.
