WATCH: Ugly brawl mars EAC win over Mapua

MANILA, Philippines – Emilio Aguinaldo won over Mapua, 86-77, after its game was stopped due to a brawl with 28.5 seconds left in the 90th NCAA men’s basketball tourney at The Arena in San Juan Monday.

All but Mapua's Jessie Saitanan and EAC's Joshua General were spared ejections after the two didn't leave the bench.

It all started when Mapua's Leo Gabo shoved EAC's John Tayongtong for shoving Mapua's CJ Isit, triggering a free-for-all.

All players and coaches involved will be slapped a minimum one-game suspension, according to league commissioner Bai Cristobal. – Joey Villar
