The Society for Cultural Enrichment Inc. (SCEI) recently went on a private tour of the very exclusive Banco De Oro (BDO) Art Gallery at the BDO head office in Makati City.
SCEI president and Angola Consul Helen Ong with the art-loving members of SCEI enjoyed the exhibit showcasing the works of National Artists Fernando Amorsolo, Jose Joya, Ang Kiukok, Napoleon Abueva and Carlos “Botong” Francisco. They were also mesmerized by the works of other legends like Mauro “Malang” Santos, Oscar Zalameda and Anita Magsaysay-Ho.

A taste of life
Marriott Hotel Manila just gave travelers a new flavorful experience with the recent opening of the Manila Life Café at the NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
The opening was led by Marriott Hotel Manila general manager Bruce Winton, director of marketing communications Michelle Garcia and executive chef Meik Brammer, Tourism Undersecretary Kat de Castro and Manila International Airport Authority assistant general manager Raul Austria.
Guests enjoyed Manila Life Café’s elevated approach to popular Filipino comfort and street food like rice bowls of adobo, kaldereta and sisig, pancit luglug and bam-i, street food platter, and a breakfast bowl of tocino, longganisa and eggs.
The new café celebrates the famed Filipino cuisine and hospitality, giving local and international travelers alike a reason to keep coming back.
