Second time around

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

Lucky customer Junar Abad Belarmino of Quezon City had the thrill of his life at his favorite home building supply store Wilcon.

As the second grand-draw winner of Wilcon’s “Money Back” promo, Belarmino had the chance to regain the same amount of money he had spent on purchases he made during his original trip to the store.

Wilcon Depot SEVP and chief operating officer Rosemarie Ong presided the final draw, which was attended by Wilcon’s respected partners.

The “Money Back” promo was Wilcon’s biggest promo to date with up to P38 million worth of prizes given away in celebration of the company’s 38th anniversary. Wilcon Depot was a simple hardware store back in 1977, which was propelled to its success by its dynamic president and CEO William Belo.

Here’s to more perks and surprises for customers from Wilcon!

A fantastic getaway

The breathtaking Panglao island in Bohol is one of the prime tourist spots in the country.

Adding to the irresistible charm of the island is the top-notch Henann Resort Alona Beach managed by Henann Group of Resorts under the leadership of chairman Dr. Henry Chusuey, executive vice president Alfonso Chusuey and vice president for marketing Karl Chusuey.

As the biggest resort in Panglao island, it sits on a lush 6.5-hectare property on the pristine shores of Alona Beach and has 400 luxurious rooms, 12 pool villas, a convention center, a luxury spa, three massive swimming pools and a wide range of dining outlets.

Noted personalities from the government and social circles had a wonderful stay at the premier resort recently as they enjoyed superb cuisine, world-class amenities and excellent service by the hardworking resort staff.

Cheers to Dr. Henry Chusuey and team for making Henann Resort Alona Beach the No. 1 choice for a truly unforgettable Bohol escapade!

Catching up with good friends

Keeping in touch with old friends might be considered difficult to do for some, but not for the very caring Minerva Tanseco who organized a special lunch for her schoolmates in Swiss finishing school and the Assumption Convent in Manila. Seen catching up at the Cameron Room of the Manila Polo Club were (from left) Rose Manlapit, Minerva Tanseco, Vicky Oppen and Sonia Recto Lopez.
