Zambo Sur trader gunned down

PAGADIAN CITY ,Philippines  – A businessman from Zamboanga del Sur was shot dead Saturday afternoon by unidentified motrocycle-riding armed men in downtown Aurora.

Provincial police director Senior Superintendent Jose Bayani Gucela said a police report received yesterday at Camp Abelon here identified the fatality as Flaviano Tilao, 61, a resident of Barangay Poblacion.

Gucela said Tilao just emerged from a tailoring shop when two men riding in tandem on a motorcycle slowed down and the back rider peppered him with bullets.

Tilao expired an hour after he was brought to Aurora General Hospital.
