Call center agent slain in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — A call center agent was shot dead by three unidentified men in Pasay City before dawn yesterday.

Police said Mark John Borromeo died at the scene from gunshots to the body.  

Witnesses said Borromeo was crossing the street near the Cuneta Astrodome when the assailants opened fire at around 2 a.m.

The suspects fled after the attack.

Probers said they were conducting an investigation to establish the identities of the suspects and the motive for the killing.
