Sorry, guys: Classes, gov't work to resume on October 18
MANILA, Philippines — Classes and work in government agencies will resume Wednesday following the two-day suspension due to the nationwide transportation strike.
Malacañang on Tuesday afternoon denied the supposed news reports circulating online of another suspension on Wednesday, October 18, due to “public health and safety” reasons.
“Government work and classes nationwide will resume tomorrow, October 18, 2017, Wednesday,” presidential spokesperson Ernie Abella said in a statement.
“There is no truth to a social media post which is now circulating online that Malacañang suspended government work and classes nationwide tomorrow,” he added.
