MANILA, Philippines — Basketball star Kiefer Ravena on Friday formally filed charges against the banker who allegedly extorted from him.

With the help of the Philippine National Police Anti-Cyber Crime Group (PNP-ACCG), Ravena filed extortion, robbery and violation of Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 cases against Kristoffer Monico Ng at the Quezon City Prosecutor's office.

Ng was allegedly behind the circulation of Ravena's nude pictures online.

The 23-year-old Ravena said that a certain @gweny_doc, who claimed to be a fan, added him on Viber last month.

Ng, who allegedly pretended to be a woman, sent nude photographs and engaged Ravena in "sexting" for weeks.

Ravena later said he was threatened that their message exchange will be uploaded on social media if he will not send his nudes pictures, so he obliged.

Photos of their exchange surfaced online last week and Ng, who was using another Viber account, asked for P50,000 in exchange of information as to who leaked the exchange online.

Ng was nabbed Wednesday in an entrapment operation at Eastwood Central Park in Libis.

Ravena is currently training with Alab Pilipinas and is set to make his debut in the Asian Basketball League.
