LPU graduates begin Japan employment
MANILA, Philippines — Ten graduates of hospitality-related courses at the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU)-Manila will leave for Japan later this month to start their employment with various hotels and resorts.
The graduates – Jopo Gian Delloro, Stephen Roi Ortega, Owen Ralph Andres, Khym Clarisse Azurin, Alodie Vida Bacal, Patricia Santiago, Alyssa Nicole Say, Roselle Leones, Faith Seruelo and Mark Macaya – successfully completed 600 hours of an intensive course on Nihongo, courtesy of the Nihongo Center Foundation, over a period of six months, focusing on hotel operations. They can now speak fluently and write in Nihongo, each having exhibited such facility with the language through a five-minute speech in Nihongo during their graduation.
