Inter-barangay dancesport culminates today
CEBU, Philippines - The series of inter-barangay dancesport tournaments in Cebu City will come to a close today with the staging of the DanceSport Challenge at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. The battle starts at 1 pm.
Over a hundred potential dancesport athletes from different barangays are expected to show up and strut their wares on the dance floor.
The organizing Dancesport-Team Cebu City is also giving out wildcard entries to the different barangays to spice up the show.
Aside from those in the barangays, there will also be an inter-school competition for high school and college levels.
Event coordinator Bernard Ricablanca, however, clarified that the competition is not a qualifying for the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. dancesport tilt set for September 10 at the Waterfront-Cebu City Hotel and Casino. (FREEMAN)
