Juvenal Sanso’s ‘A Triumph of the Spirit: A healing inspired by the coast of Brittany’
French Ambassador Thierry Mathou and Fundacion Sanso’s Jack Teotico looks at the paintings of renowned artist Sanso
MANILA, Philippines - Last April 20, Alliance Francaise de Manille and Fundacion Sanso, in cooperation with the Embassy of France to the Philippines, organized the opening of the exhibition of visual arts master Juvenal Sanso entitled “Triumph of the Spirit: A healing inspired by the coast of Brittany” at the Alliance Francaise de Manille Total Gallery.
In essence, the exhibit, which celebrates the spirit of the artist, is construed as an act of solidarity to the people of France, and is a celebration of the strength of the human spirit against adversity. It also celebrates the healing Sanso experienced inspired by the coast of Brittany.
To run until May 26, 2017, the exhibition is part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the Philippines and France. Photos by Mike Amoroso
