Ano’ng tinatago mo Mayor Duterte? – Roxas

MANILA, Philippines — Tila may itinatago si Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte dahil sa paggamit niya ng “legal maneuverings” matapos ang harapan ng kanilang kampo sa Bank of the Philippine Islands-Julia Vargas branch ngayong Lunes, ayon kay Liberal Party (LP) presidential candidate Manuel Roxas II.

Sinabi ni Roxas na maaaring matakbuhan ni Duterte ang mga paratang ngunit hindi siya makakapagtago sa katotohanan.

“You can use all the legal maneuverings to sidestep the issue but the truth will come out. The Filipino nation will not go for a liar and a thief,” wika ni Roxas.

“Obviously Mayor Duterte, you have something to hide. What are you hiding?” dagdag niya.

Ipinaalala ni Roxas ang paghamon ni Duterte sa iba pang presidential candidates na lagdaan ang waiver para bank secrecy upang mapakita ang kanilang sinseridad sa pagsugpo ng katiwalian.

 “He and his running mate Sen. Alan Cayetano were the first ones to sign the waiver. That was their propaganda,” pahayag ni Roxas.

“Now, they shuttered the process to prevent us from knowing the truth. They used legalities to hinder us from knowing the truth.”

Sa nangyayari kay Duterte ay naihalintulad ito ni Roxas sa Martial Law ni Panglulong Ferdinand Marcos.

 “When was the last time we had someone who kills indiscriminately while stealing from us? Isn’t it similar to martial law?”
