Petron ousts Ginebra, faces Rain or Shine in semis

Top seed and 2011 titleholder Petron Blaze set up a semis showdown with reigning champion Rain or Shine as the Boosters knocked out the Barangay Ginebra Kings, 101-94 in the quarterfinals of the PBA Governors Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena Thursday night.

Arana was at it again against Globalport Thursday night at the Mall of Asia Arena, rising to the occasion and coming off the bench late in the game as the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters bundled out the Batang Pier, 108-106, to advance to the PBA Governors Cup Final Four.
