Kiddies open chessfest this Sunday

CEBU, Philippines – Cebu’s young aspiring pawnpushers will have another venue to further polish their skills via the R.P. Mora Kiddies Open Chess Tournament 2015 on November 22 at the CMYK Dessert House and Sports Bar just beside Route Stop in Barrio Luz,  Cebu City.

The 7-round Swiss system competition is open to players aged 15 years old and below.

The champion will take home P3,000, while the second and third placers will pocket P2,000 and P1,000, respectively. The fourth to 13th finishers will receive P400 each.

Entry fee is pegged at P150. The participants are advised to come early as the tournament promptly starts at 9:30 am.
