Dancesport-TCC bets shine on foreign shores
CEBU, Philippines – The spirited members of Dancesport-Team Cebu City put on show in two events they joined in different countries.
DTCC directress Eleanor Hayco and her longtime dance partner Jimmy Noel continued to sizzle on the way to a golden performance in the senior latin category of the prestigious King's Cup in Thailand.
Real-life sweethearts Wilbert Aunzo and Pearl Marie Caneda also made an impact after landing fifth in the latin event of the Asian DanceSport Federation Open also in Thailand.
Prior to that, Aunzo and Caneda managed to advance into the quarterfinal round of the World DanceSport Federation Open battle.
For DTCC head coach Crisaldo "Loloi" Rendon, what Aunzo and Caneda had achieved was not bad at all considering that they are first-timers in the WDSF scene.
Over in Singapore, John Paul Mocorro and Joy Dumosmog made waves through the Raffles Open Dance Championships 2015.
Mocorro and Dumosmog, who only teamed up last June, swiftly made an impact by taking home three titles in the latin, junior latin and the amateur Rising Star event.
Mocorro and Dumosmog's triumph in the Rising Star was the highlight of their campaign. (FREEMAN)
