SHS-AdC scores twin kill in Aboitiz Football
CEBU, Philippines – The Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu booters scored a resounding twin kill via the girls 18 and 15 categories of the 17th Aboitiz Football Club at their own turf in Brgy.Canduman, Mandaue City yesterday.
Itsuko Bacatan went unstoppable as she towed her team into victory in two separate divisions. SHS-AdC got a 13-2 win against Tabor Hills highlighted with a hat trick from Bacatan. She also led SHS-AdC's charge in the girls 18 class to a back-to-back victory.
SHS-AdC zoomed to a 10-0 lead in the first half and continued to pounce on in the final half and earned an 18-0 win against Tayud FC. They also posted a 19-0 win against the Talisay Razkals with Bacatan connecting eight goals.
In the mixed under-9 class, San Roque FC silenced Bright Academy, 7-0 while Consolacion FC grabbed a 1-0 win against Paref-Springdale. Mactan Spartans went too much from Bright Academy with an 11-1 beating in the girls 15.
Over at San Roque Parish's football field, Alcoy FC posted a 10-0 whitewash against the Colegio dela Inmaculada Concepcion-Mandaue in the boys 18. Abellana National School also annihilated MAD FC, 8-1. (FREEMAN)
