“Maninguha ko nga makumpleto g’yud ang maong project kay akong nakita nga its time for Consolacion to have a new and modern market,” Lagon said.

The new market is to pave the way for the modernized market and aside from being modern, the market itself will be a two two-story structure with a bridge connecting the two buildings.

“Kay ang among merkado diri limpyo, barato, ug smiling ang mga tindero ug tindera,” said Alegado.

Currently, there are over 600 stall owners in the market. As phase 1 of the project commences, no one will be displaced.

“Anha ra na sila sa kilid kilid lang sa while ongoing ang construction sa phase 1,” the mayor added.(CEBU NEWS)
