Aesthetic Skin Clinic Opens

Medical school friends and classmates Dr Richielda Cabucos and Dr Rhea Ong have opened their first-ever business venture together – SkinRx Aesthetic Clinic. Dr. Cabucos has always wanted to become a dermatologist but destiny led her to pediatric residency training in Chong Hua Hospital - Fuente. 

Dr. Rhea B. Ong was the in-house physician of Flawless Face, Skin and Body Inc.’s flagship store for Visayas and Mindanao at the SM City Cebu from 2008-2015. She is a member of the Philippine Academy of Aesthetics and Age-Management Medicine, Inc., which is an affiliate society of the Philippine Medical Association. She also trained with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine to further hone her skills and learn new trends in the field.

The business savvy of Dr Cabucos and the field expertise of Dr Ong in aesthetic medicine have brought forth SkinRx Aesthetic Clinic. The business name was chosen to signify a skin clinic that takes beauty seriously by making sure that the treatments and medications are prescribed, signified by Rx, by a licensed and well-trained medical doctor. The super-imposition of the letter “R” on the Rx also stand for its owners first names, Richielda and Rhea.

Last September 3 was the grand opening and blessing of SkinRx.  Ribbon cutting was graced by Mr. Richard Cabucos, father of Dr. Richielda Cabucos, Mr. Ephraim Bomediano, father of Dr. Rhea Ong and guest of honor Mayor Virgilio “Dodong” Mendez both godfather of both doctors.

SkinRx Aesthetic Clinic has a complete set of affordable services from facials according to skin type and more specialized facials such as Oxygeneo and Jetpeel facials. The clinic also has other medical services such as permanent laser hair reduction, non-surgical face-lifting and anti-aging and whitening treatments for the face and body.  The clinic is open from Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
