New “Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery Center”

CEBU, Philippines - The University of Cebu Medical Center (UCMed) inaugurated its new Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery Center last March 21. The facility covers an approximately 64-square-meter area at the hospital’s third level, and touted to be the first of its class in the Visayas and Mindanao region housed inside a hospital.

Present during the inauguration were University of Cebu (UC) president Augusto W. Go, UC chancellor Candice Gotianuy, UCMed director Dr. Joselito Almendras and the section head of the newly inaugurated center, Dr. Jesusito Zubiri.

Offering various services for addressing health, cosmetic and wellness needs, the center’s roster of services covers cosmetic surgery procedures like blepharoplasty (eyefold revision, eyebag removal), otoplasty (ear surgery) and rhytidectomy (face lift), among others.

The Center also offers a range of minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures, and reconstructive procedures such as burns reconstruction, cleft lip surgery and cleft palate surgery, among others.

With seven board-certified and reputable plastic surgeons, the Center stands by UCMed’s mission and vision to provide quality and readily-accessible healthcare services to everyone. (FREEMAN)
