CEBU, Philippines - The International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima (popularly known as the IPVS of Our Lady of Fatima) from Portugal has been visiting various Archdioceses all over the country since September this year, hosted by the World Apostolate of Fatima of the Philippines (WAF Philippines).
On the last leg of her official visit to the Philippines, the IPVS of Our Lady of Fatima will be in the Archdiocese of Cebu on December 16-19. Her itinerary while in Cebu includes visiting various parishes like Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral and Virgin dela Regla Shrine in Lapu-Lapu City on December 16; St. Augustine Parish in Carmen and Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Basak, Mandaue City on December 17; St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Carcar City and St. Joseph Parish in Tabunok, Talisay City on December 18; Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Basilica del Sto. Niño on December 19 wherein a solemn foot procession will take place at 1:00 PM of the said day.
Assembly area will be at DOH Fuente Osmeña proceeding towards Basilica del Sto. Niño.
A farewell Mass will be celebrated at 4:30 PM afterwhich a Fatima Adieu will be accorded to Our Lady before she departs and returns to her Sanctuary in Fatima, Portugal. (FREEMAN)
