My childhood friend Joel Trinidad and I came up with an idea of writing our own musical in the late ‘80s when we found it very hard to score tickets to Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera both in the West End and Broadway. So we started writing a draft of that Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve movie Somewhere in Time, which we hoped would be a smash musical.
