Petro, Choco out to arrange title showdown

MANILA, Philippines —  Petro Gazz and Choco Mucho try to arrange an interesting title showdown when the semifinals of the PVL All-Filipino Conference resumes today at the PhilSports Arena.

The Angels and the Flying Titans gained the early upper hand in the race to the best-of-three finals with the former swooping down on the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, 20-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-18, and the latter outlasting the Creamline Cool Smashers, 13-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20, 18-16, last Tuesday.

If both Petro Gazz and Choco Mucho could hurdle Creamline and Chery Tiggo, respectively, in four sets or five, they would earn enough points to seal a showdown for the most sought after title of all – the All-Filipino.
