MANILA, Philippines — University of Perpetual Help and Letran try to arrange an interesting title clash while Mapua and San Sebastian set out to foil their plans in today’s NCAA Season 99 junior basketball Final Four at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.

The Junior Altas seized the top seeding with an 8-1 record and will battle the No. 4 Red Robins at 12 p.m. while the Squires did just enough to keep the No. 2 seed and set a 2:30 p.m. duel with the No. 3 Staglets.

Nobody really expected UPHSD, owned by Dr. Tony Tamayo, to make it to the Final Four, and snatch a twice-to-beat incentive in its search for a first NCAA juniors crown. But it did.

If Perpetual and Letran prevail today, they advance to the best-of-three finale. But Mapua and San Sebastian will be out to force a rubber match.
