Pasay hosts PFGB ‘Digmaan’ today
MANILA, Philippines — Well-known gamefowl breeders clash in the 2018 PFGB National Digmaan 11-Stag Derby at Pasay City Cockpit today.
Sixty members of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) with scores of 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5 and 6 points will compete in today’s 4-stag finals supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.
Seven participants with six points each lead the favorites – Boy Tuazon, Mel Lim, Reps. Lawrence Wacnang and JB Bernos, Nelson Uy, Nestor Mercado and Ren Castro/Rene Santos.
Initiated by the Pambansang Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (PFGB), ‘Digmaan’ will have its grand finals (6.5 and 7 points) on Dec. 17 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Meanwhile, bigtime stagfighting returns to Pasay Cockpit on Dec. 14 via the Special Request 5 -Stag Derby.
Long-time partners Gov. Eddiebong Plaza and Ting Coscoluella will host the event.
