Perpetual holds charity fun run

MANILA, Philippines – Perpetual Help will hold a fun run for a cause on Feb. 14 with a big field expected to see action at SM Southmall grounds in Las Piñas City.

The event, featuring the 1K, 3K and 5K, is held in line with the 40th founding anniversary of the UPH Las Piñas campus with proceeds to go to the brothers inside the University of Perpetual Help Collegiate Extension School inside the Bureau of Corrections, Muntinlupa City.

The event is open to Perpetualite students and their family, faculty, employees and alumni. Registration is ongoing with fee pegged at P250, inclusive of t-shirt, a loot bag, race bib and commemorative mug and raffle ticket. For details, call Dean Bong Trinidad of the College of Criminology at 0917-8962084.

The 5K runners’ assembly time is at 4:30 a.m. with gun start at 5 a.m. while the 3K runners’ assembly time is at 5 a.m. with gun start at 5:30 a.m. The 1K run for kids will be assembled at 5:30 a.m. with gun start at 6 a.m.
