Jungolf inter-school kicks off at Army golf

MANILA, Philippines - Thirty-eight Metro Manila schools are seeing action in the 2015 ICTSI-JGFP Inter-School Championships Developmental Division kicking off today at the Philippine Army course. 

Over a hundred jungolfers are playing in the multi-division competition conducted by The Junior Golfers League under the auspices of the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines to be held for six consecutive weeks in five different courses.

The International Container Terminal Services, Inc. is the main backer of the tourney with Philippine Airlines, Golf Depot and Inquirer Golf as other sponsors.

The rest of the schedule: Aug. 16, Phil. Navy Golf Club; Aug. 30, Ayala Southlinks Golf Course; Sept. 5-6, Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club (Group 1-2), Sept. 20, Phil. Navy Golf Club and Sept. 27, Riviera Sports Club.

Seeing action are Assumption San Lorenzo, Ateneo, Batangas State University, Beacon International, British School Manila, Brent International School, Casa Real Montessori, Claret School QC, Chinese International School, Community of Learners School, Don Bosco Technical, Dominican School Manila, Diosdado Macapagal High School,  Everest Academy, El Rio De Pasig, Hedcen The Little Farm House, The Bridge School, Immaculate Conception Academy, International Baptist College, Jose Rizal Elementary School, Kermes Elementary School, Makati Hope Christian School, MCA Montessori School, Manila Japanese School, O.B Montessori, Philippine Science High School , San Beda College Alabang, San Beda College Rizal, Saint Michael the Archangel, De La Salle University- STC Canlubang, Saint Pedro Poveda, Singapore School Manila, St. Mary’s College QC, Stonyhurst Southville International, Southville International, The Masters Academy, Xavier and UP Ed Montessori.
