BLSS opens summer swim courses in NCR, Luzon

MANILA, Philippines - At the Bert Lozada Swim School (BLSS), summer officially starts tomorrow when it opens its pools to swimming clinics for swim enthusiasts, from beginners to competitive swimmers.

With coaching from some of the country’s best swimming instructors, everyone is encouraged to learn how to swim not only as a sport or leisure but also as a life-saving necessity, says BLSS president and CEO Angelo Lozada.

Camp Aqua 2014 highlights the Swim at Any Age (SAGE) Program of BLSS, which aims to give students – infants, kids, teens and adults –confidence in the water through guided teaching and mentoring. This summer, BLSS continues to offer swimming courses which include My Baby and Me for infants and toddlers, Snapper and Jammer programs for kids and teens, as well as adult programs, all ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

“Swimming is our family sport.  It has become our joy and our relaxation, an activity we could all do together as a family.  BLSS helped us achieve this goal and we are very thankful to them for this,” said Kath, a mother and student of the BLSS Adult program.

Summer classes are available at over 60 venues Luzon-wide including Metro Manila, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Dagupan, Ilocos, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Viscaya and Rizal.

BLSS is affiliated with the US Swim School Association (USSSA) and World Aquatic Babies and Children Network (WABC), with coaches certified and educated by the World Swimming Coaches Association, International Triathlon Union and the Philippine Swimming Inc. It is also supported by the Philippine Medical Association in promoting safety and health.
