MANILA, Philippines - The Balik-Canlubang fun run fires off tomorrow with Petron top gun Arwind Santos and Philippine sports commissioner Chito Loyzaga gracing the event kicking off the weeklong Balik-Canlubang community homecoming.

Over 300 runners are expected to vie for top honors in the 5K and 10K events, which start and end at the St. Joseph the Worker church grounds with the rest of the race staged at the LEDC subdivision.

Santos, the leading contender for the best player award in the current PBA Philippine Cup, and Loyzaga, also a former PBA star, will be on hand during awards rites.

Listup is ongoing with registration fees pegged at P200 for the 5K race and P300 for the 10K event.

Ely Baradas, Balik-Canlubang overall chairman, will fire the starting gun for the race that will officially usher in the festivities to be highlighted by a golf tournament on Jan. 4, a motorcade and get-together party on Jan. 6 and a dinner-dance on Jan. 7 at the Don Bosco gym.
