Eaglets nip Jr Archers

MANILA, Philippines - Ateneo nipped La Salle, 78-76, in overtime to open its campaign in the TriDharma Mktg. Corp Filipino-Chinese Basketball League second Freego Jeans’ Cup on a winning note at the Buddhacare Gym near Araneta Ave. in QC last Saturday.

Al Bugarin delivered the winning basket for the Blue Eaglets to complete their come-from-behind win at the start of the tournament.

Bugarin was chosen as the Hi-Smart Player of the Game.
