Hacienda Luisita hosts inter-cities team chess

MANILA, Philippines - The 2009 National Inter-Cities and Municipalities Chess Team Championship will be held on April 11 - 15 at the Robinson’s Mall, Hacienda Luisita, in Tarlac City.

The annual event, organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) headed by chairman/president Prospero Pichay Jr. and secretary-general and Tagaytay Mayor Abraham Tolentino and hosted by Tarlac City, headed by Mayor Genaro “Aro” Mendoza, offers a total cash prize of P300,000 for the top 10 teams with the champion team getting P100,000.
