Pops at Jomari maliit lang ang naging problema

Kung si Pops Fernandez ang tatanungin, the cause of her and Jomari Yllana’s near-breakup recently was miscommunication, ang termino namang misunderstanding ang ginamit ng aktor. But which over, agad naman daw nilang naayos ni Pops ang kung tutuusi’y maliit na problema.

‘‘Paalis kasi siya nu’n for a show in the province, bale nakalimutan ko lang ’yung usual na kailangang tawagan ko siya. But honestly, that was the first time we got into a fight, very minor pa. Hindi kasi kami ’yung couple na nag-aaway,’’ sabi ni Jom na umaming almost three years na sila ni Pops.

Now, Jomari knows better. Coming from two failed relationships (kina Aiko Melendez at Ara Mina), this one with the Concert Queen would like to keep. One veritable sign is the actor’s enthusiasm towards his career. With Cesca Litton, nagho-host si Jom ng Philippines’ Scariest Challenge that airs on TV5 every Friday at 6:00 p.m.

Today marks the fulfillment of Richard Gomez’s long-cherished dream as his new show Family Feud begins, which means dalawang beses araw-araw siyang masisilayan sa TV via FF before 24 Oras at pagkatapos nito’y sa Asero naman.

Inamin ni Goma that before he auditioned for the hosting job, he did an extensive research on the popular game show. Aware din ang aktor that it was Ogie Alcasid who hosted FF when the then-ABC 5 acquired the local rights years ago, na kahit nga raw si Ogie ay nag-audition din bukod sa kanya.

To create a truly Pinoy flavor, however, imbes na ‘‘good answer, good answer” ang trademark ng FF as mouthed by the family contenders, ang pina-uuso ni Goma ay ang linyang ‘‘Puwede!’’ in accord with their likely answers to the survey questions.

In the future, nais makita ni Goma na lahukan ito ng mga pamilya ng kanyang ex-girlfriends. ‘‘Why not? I can request them (Sharon Cuneta, Dawn Zulueta, etc.) personally, that would be fun,’’ sey ni Richard.
