90 katao kinasuhan na sa pagkamatay ng 35 SAF

MANILA, Philippines – Pormal nang kinasuhan kahapon sa ang 90 indibidwal na may kaugnayan sa pagkamatay ng 35 troopers ng  55th Special Action Company (SAC) ng  Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) sa maisan sa  Barangay Tukanalipao, Mamasapano, Maguindanao noong Enero 25, 2015.

Isinampa ng National Bureau of Investigation - National Prosecution Service Special Investigation Team (NBI-NPS SIT) ang kasong  direct assault with murder and theft kay DOJ Prosecutor General Claro Arellano.

Ang kinasuhan ay ang 26 Moro Islamic Liberation Front members, kabilang ang mga  commander ng  MILF 105th at 11th Base Commands; 12 BIFF members, kabilang ang  BIFF commander sa Mamasapano; at 52 PAGs members at iba pang indibidwal na inaalam pa kung anong grupo.

Ayon kay Justice Secretary Leila De Lima na ang mg kinasuhan ay kabilang din sa unang report ng NBI-NPS SIT at positibong itinuro ng limang saksi kabilang ang isang alias “Marathon”.

Ayon sa mga saksi na nasa 1,000 MILF, BIFF, at PAGs members ang sumali sa tinatawag na “pintakasi” laban sa  55th SAC troopers.

“Even if close to a thousand ang na-identify, we can only charge at this point yung 90 na na-identify ng mga witnesses… next to impossible, if not impossible, to identify lahat nagparticipate sa ganyang klaseng insidente.” wika ni De Lima.

“Confident naman po kami na yung aming mga witnesses, especially ‘Marathon,’ he knew what he was talking about,” dagdag pa ni De Lima.
