Jessica, sumali na sa anti-piracy campaign para sa mga Ilocano

Tuloy ang anti-piracy drive ng GMA Network with a new video and a radio plug in Ilocano.

At ang latest Kapuso personality na sumali sa Stream Responsibly. Fight Piracy campaign, walang iba kundi ang award-winning broadcast journalist na si Jessica Soho.

In the latest video and radio plug, ang host ng multi-platform leader at multi-awarded program Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho ipinaabot niya sa mga manonood in Ilocano ang importansya sa pagpili ng stream programs sa legitimate platforms. Hinihikayat din niya ang mga ito na tingnan ang mga official website ng streaming services para makakuha ng mga lehitimong subscription.

Ang nasabing anti-piracy video with Jessica ay nag-umpisang mapanood noong April 8 during the broadcast of the One North Central Luzon program sa  GMA Regional TV, at napanood din GMA Pinoy TV, GMA Life TV, and GMA News TV. The plug also aired on GMA Network radio stations throughout Baguio, Dagupan, and Tuguegarao.

Speaking on behalf of the GMA Anti-Piracy committee, the Network’s First Vice President and Head of International Operations Joseph T. Francia says, “To protect content-generating outlets such as GMA Network and the creative industry, we must emphasize to our  viewers in the Philippines and our Ilocano-speaking communities around the world that there are legitimate platforms through which they can enjoy watching their favorite programs. Jessica is a proud Ilocana and we are pleased that she is lending her voice in our advocacy for the benefit of her many followers here and abroad.”

Patuloy ang GMA Network na nagpapataas ng kamalayan tungkol sa digital piracy hindi lamang sa pamamagitan ng kampanya ng kanilang mga talent kundi sa pamamagitan din ng pagpapalaganap ng drive sa buong bansa gamit ang mga video at radio plug na inihatid sa iba›t ibang wika sa Pilipinas.

“GMA Network’s responsibility goes beyond providing accurate news and timely information,” sabi naman ni Oliver B. Amoroso, GMA Network Senior Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy.

Dagdag niya: “We also take the lead in encouraging our Kapuso audiences to support the creative industry by providing them with information about the risks of digital piracy through our Kapuso personalities addressing them in various Philippine languages.”
