Pang Movies

Nararamdaman nina John Lloyd at Sarah sa isa’t isa, buking na!

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Bukod sa kabuuan ng movie itself na kaaliw-aliw naman talagang panoorin (kahit pa ilang beses, okay lang), obvious na ang isa pang biggest come on ng currently showing John Lloyd Cruz-Sarah Geronimo-starrer ay ang bloopers which were featured sa tailend ng palabas.

It was quite a very revealing episode on the part of Sarah lalo’t sa eksenang paulit-ulit niyang hinahalikan si Loydie, ’di nga lang sa lips kung hindi sa pisngi. Somehow, nagkakaroon ka ng idea how she feels about her leading man. And vice versa.

Well, kung sabagay, ang kabuuan ng pelikula proves that maturity, both as a person and performer, have caught up with Sarah.

No wonder na ang kasama naming si Chit R., kahit nagbayad siya ng admission fee na P200, yes, tumataginting na P200 na pala ang bayad sa takilya, dahil sabi nga sa Gateway Mall sa Cubao, Quezon City kung saan namin pinanood ang It Takes a Man and a Woman na na-consume ng lahat ang number of movie passes na dapat nilang i-accommodate ay nag-comment na worth it naman sa halagang kanyang ibinayad ang pelikula.

For us to describe Loydie’s performance as sulit na sulit is actually maituturing na given na. I’d say, though, na malaking tulong sa pagiging almost perfect na panoorin ang It Takes a Man and a Woman ang mga supporting player nilang sina Rowell Santiago, Joross Gamboa, Gio Alvarez, Johnny Revilla, at Matet de Leon.

Isabelle Diaz fitted her role as Loydie’s ‘‘other woman’’ to a T. Although she deserves lead role in her next assignment.

At sexy pa man din.

Anak nila ni Mark sina Sid Lucero at Maxene Eigenmann, two good talents in the industry as well.

But if there is one na may kinalaman sa pelikula who should get the pinakamatinding congratulatory slap kumbaga ay ang lady director na si Cathy Garcia-Molina.

To the film producers, Star Cinema and Viva Films, more power!

Don’t look now but Jennylyn Mercado, at the recent presscon of her soon to be released flick with Lovi Poe and Paulo Avelino, ang Regal Entertainment Inc.’s The Bride and The Lover, revealed that boyfriend Luis Manzano has not proposed marriage to her yet.

Which is just as well, she stated. In the first place, paliwanag niya, kung anuman na relasyon na meron sila sa kasalukuyan it was only formalized nearly a year ago. The past two years were spent, aniya, trying to get to know each other.

One thing they have in common, Jen revealed, is their love for sports.

Pero at 25, Jennylyn doesn’t think she is ready for marriage na. Actually, she is more focused on her four-year-old son Alex Jazz (father is Patrick Garcia) na bukod sa napaka-guwapo ay napaka-bibo rin.

Inaamin ni Jennylyn na malaking influence sa kanya si Luis sa pag-evolve niya as a person and as a professional.

And he didn’t have to tell her na magbago. Nakita niya ang magagandang bagay tungkol kay Luis that she considers his assets. Somehow ay na-imbibe sa kanya ang mga iyon, lalo na on how to improve oneself at ’yung pagmamahal sa trabaho.

No wonder na, like Luis, napaka-gracious niya these days as a person. She has become a pleasant conversationalist.

Although she’s not as articulate as Luis yet, lalo’t sa English, well, ’di na siya boring na kausap.

Asked whether she’s ready na to become Lipa’s First Lady, in case Luis decides na tumakbo bilang mayor ng siyudad na pinamahalaan din ng kanyang inang si Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, sabi ni Jennylyn she will be behind him sa bawat endeavor na balak nitong gawin o pasukin.

Well, if this isn’t love, Salve A., I don’t know what is.
