VV, gumawa ng bagong record

Patuloy na gumagawa ng history ang Voltes V: Legacy ng GMA Network, as the primetime masterpiece continues to dominate the entertainment world. Sila ang first-ever Philippine TV program na magpa-participate sa San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2023, upon the invitation of CEO Jerry Blank of the Dogu Publishing para sa biggest annual comics convention sa California, USA.

Magaganap ang SDCC 2023 mula July 20 to 23. Attending the event are GMA Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose S. Sese, Assistant Vice President for Post Operations Vincent C. Gealogo, and Telesuccess Productions Executive Producer Larson Chan. Siyempre pa, hindi kumpleto ang event kung hindi dadalo ang mga bida sina Miguel Tanfelix (Steve Armstrong), Ysabel Ortega (Jamie Robinson), Gabby Eigenmann (Commander Robinson) at si Director Mark Reyes. Gaganapin ang Comic-Con debut on July 22, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. The cast will be signing a limited-edition poster on the convention floor.

Lalong exciting ang panonood ng Voltes V: Legacy gabi-gabi sa GMA 7 at 8 p.m. ngayong pumasok na ang bagong Chief Commander of Camp Big Falcon, si Dr. Larry Hook, played by versatile actor Neil Ryan Sese, kapalit ng napatay na Chief Commander, si Dr. Smith (Albert Martinez). Kuhang-kuha ni Neil ‘yung strict, serious and grumpy traits ni Dr. Hook. Thankful naman ang GMA sa gabi-gabing pagtaas ng kanilang ratings.

Alden, sasabak sa Miss Filipina International

So very busy ang tatlong top Kapuso stars na sina Kapuso Royal Couple Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera at si Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.

Pare-parehong busy sina Dingdong at Marian sa mga ginagawa nilang teleserye, magkatambal din sila sa Rewind movie for the coming Metro Manila Film Festival, pagkatapos ng isang dekadang hindi sila nakagawa ng pelikula. Ganoon din naman si Alden, bukod sa nakatapos na siya ng isang movie with Julia Montes, kasalukuyan naman silang nagsu-shooting ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta ng A Mother and A Son’s Story. Nagho-host din si Alden ng naiibang talent competition, ang Battle of the Judges na napapanood every Saturday sa GMA Network  at twice a week ay nagti-taping siya ng episodes ng drama anthology na Magpakailanman, na ipapalabas sa buong month of August sa Kapuso Network.

Pero may chance naman silang makapagpahinga kahit ilang araw, pero may kasama pa ring trabaho, dahil silang tatlo, kasama sina Lani Misalucha at Christian Bautista ang itatampok sa GMA Pinoy TV’s 18th anniversary celebration na gagawin sa Middle East this August. Bale ang mag-asawang Dingdong at Marian ay ngayon lamang muling makakalabas ng bansa. Ang anniversary celebration ay sa Aug. 25 sa Madinat Al Irfan sa Muscat, Oman at sa Aug. 26 sa Dubai World Trade Centre.

Pero si Alden, kasama si Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee ay mauunang aalis para sa 10th Year Miss Filipina International Pageant na sila ang napiling judges, on Aug. 5, at 6 p.m. sa International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the home to the Golden Globes.
