The Thai and Philippine diplomatic communities gathered for the Thai National Day held at the Grand Ballroom of Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City.
The day commemorates the birthday of Thailand’s revered king, the late great Bhumibol Adulyadej and has been announced to be continuously celebrated despite his passing.
Thai Ambassador Thanatip Upatising welcomed guests to the special event, which featured a sumptuous spread of fine Thai cuisine. Guests also learned new things about the Land of Smiles’ rich and vibrant culture.
It was a wonderful evening of celebrating one of the most joyous nations in the world and strengthening ties between our two countries.
