Away with them!

That’s how more and more people are feeling, seeing our senators and congressmen squabbling and trading endless barbs over Cha-cha, people’s initiative, AKAP in the budget, etc.

The Senate accuses the House of trying to pull a fast one with PI to make them irrelevant; the House members say senators are disrespecting them and both claim the other is violating their leaders’ agreement to work together amid a ceasefire.

They should really ALL shut up and just work – not on Cha-cha or PI or investigations in aid of re-election but on passing bills that will truly positively impact the lives of ordinary Filipinos, like ensuring affordable and available food and keeping oil prices in check.

Every year millions, even billions, are spent on these lawmakers, but they seem to be more like troublemakers. If the Constitution is to be amended, maybe the best amendment would be to do away with all of them!
