Spring frogs, anyone!

THE EAR - The Freeman

FROGS. An Asian medical student in a local medical school celebrated his birthday last week and among the food on the table was a specially cooked spring frog ("baki"). An Ear informer, a classmate of the celebrator, said the frog was prepared "adobo-sarsiyado" style. He said his host said it was the most expensive menu on the table.

IMPORTED. The frog meat was imported from Korea and arrived in Cebu frozen. "If we learn how to eat frogs, we can have additional food on the table," our Ear informer said. "Lami baya kaayo, sir," he said. "Kadaghanan nato mas naanad na pa kaon og bitin," he said adding: "Ngee!"
