Trash talk

CONCERNED DRIVER. A taxi driver expressed concern over the trash produced by the conduct of the recent barangay polls. He said, in his 25 years of driving, garbage problems generated from elections have generally worsened.

POSTERS ON SKYWALK. In one barangay in Cebu City, for instance, he noted how a skywalk had become what he called a "wall of trash." With politicians' posters stuck on the skywalk, he said, "Grabe, hugaw na kaayo ang maong skywalk." He continued to say that the pun was intended.
