Colored candles

THE EAR - The Freeman

COLORED CANDLES. A woman, about 45 years old, was seen and observed selling candles in different colors outside the Sto. Niño Basilica. Each candle has a specific purpose. Blue for good health, white for pardoning of sin and red for recovery of lost things. The candles sold for P5 each, according to an Ear informer.

FIESTA BOUND. Our informer learned that this woman candle vendor was also seen in Lapu-Lapu City during the fiesta of our Lady of the Rule. There are about five of them selling colored candles in other fiesta celebrations.
