Manila's Mayor Lacson drove a military jeep in his official inspections

OFFICIAL CARS. There were many kinds of talks after Mayor Tom O said he was willing to ride in PUJs when the issue about top government officials using luxury cars cropped up.

A mediaman remembers that when Arsenio “Arsenic” Lacson was mayor of Manila, he was seen on many occasions driving an original military jeep around that city. “Jeep ang iyang gisakyan ug siya mismo ang nag-drive kay mas sayon tingali ang pag-obserbar sa mga kalihukan sa iyang siyudad,” the mediaman who used to live in Manila said.
