'Tis the season to grow your body hair! #NoShaveNovember
MANILA, Philippines – Drop your razors and cancel your waxing appointments. This month, we celebrate No-Shave November.
The campaign, which started on Facebook in 2009, aims to educate people about cancer prevention, save lives and aid those fighting the battle. To fulfill the goal, everyone is encouraged to grow their body hair, which cancer patients usually lose, and donate what they would otherwise spend on hair grooming to the American Cancer Society.
Everyone, young and old, male and female can participate in No-Shave November. The men can grow their beard and mustache while women can grow their hair on the legs and under the arms.

Meanwhile, No-Shave November is different from Movember. The campaign, which started 2003, encourages to grow facial hair only. The movement began in Australia in 2003 to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancers. Sign up for No-Shave November here.
