Road rage in Taguig leaves 1 injured

MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider stabbed the back-rider of another motorist in a road rage incident in Taguig on Thursday.
Police arrested the 48-year-old rider, known only as Sherwin, after stabbing the back-rider with a screwdriver, leaving him with wounds in the stomach, hips and arms.
According to the Southern Police District, the altercation began when Sherwin flashed the middle finger at the victims while driving along 8th Avenue.
The incident quickly went viral on social media.
The back-ride victim told reporters that the suspect became combative and kept on stopping his motorcycle.
Sherwin apologized for the incident, but maintained that what he did was in self-defense.
He will face two counts of frustrated homicide charges.
