FL leads medical mission at Crame

MANILA, Philippines — Over 2,000 police officers and their families yesterday received free medical services through the Laboratory, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat or LAB for ALL program of First Lady Liza Marcos.
Marcos led the activity at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
Security was tight at the main camp of the Philippine National Police hours before the event started at the PNP multipurpose center.
“This project is not only for the communities we protect, but also for the men and women who stand at the frontlines to protect our nation,” Marcos said. “Today, in our simple way, we are here to take care of you.”
Around 20 partners from the public and private sectors joined the activity, delivering services such as medical consultations, dental care, eye checkups, electrocardiogram tests, urinalysis, human immunodeficiency virus testing, chest X-rays, ultrasound services and free medicines.
The PNP personnel also received legal assistance, skills and business mentorship as well as free seedlings.
Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla and PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., who were present at the event, lauded Marcos for her medical initiative.
