Fetus found in condo’s sewage treatment plant

MANILA, Philippines — A fetus was found dumped in the sewage treatment plant of a high-end condominium complex in Quezon City on Tuesday.

An operator of the sewerage treatment plant of the condominium found the fetus floating in the oil and grease tank at around 8:30 a.m.

Police investigators said the condominium is located along Panay Avenue in Barangay South Triangle.

According to probers, the fetus may have originated from one of the over 3,000 units in the four different towers in the complex.

An investigation is ongoing to determine who aborted the baby.
