2 die in Pangasinan road mishaps
LINGAYEN, Philippines — Two persons died while another was injured in separate vehicular accidents in San Carlos and Binmaley in Pangasinan on Saturday.
Fe dela Cruz, 60, was declared dead on arrival at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital.
The victim was crossing a street in San Carlos City at around 10 p.m. when a vehicle hit her.
Meanwhile, Donnaliza Peralta, 20, was on a motorcycle driven by Darm Kirby Tolentino when they figured in an accident in Barangay San Isidro Norte, Binmaley.
Peralta was declared dead on arrival at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City, where Tolentino was also taken for treatment of injuries.
Reports said Tolentino lost control of the wheel, causing the motorcycle to crash into a concrete fence and a vehicle parked along the road.
Peralta and Tolentino were reportedly not wearing helmets.
