P2.4 million marijuana seized in Kalinga

MANILA, Philippines — Dried marijuana leaves with an estimated value of P2.4 million were seized in a raid that also resulted in the arrest of two people in Rizal, Kalinga on Monday night.

Arnel Sanga and his companion Benjamin Marayag were arrested at around 11 p.m. at a house in Barangay Santor, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

The PDEA said the raiding team recovered two bottles of marijuana oil, a weighing scale and an airgun at the scene.
