Southern Metro Manila’s most wanted fugitive falls

MANILA, Philippines — The most wanted fugitive in southern Metro Manila was arrested in Parañaque yesterday.

Southern Police District (SPD) director Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft said Ryan Frida, 24, was apprehended along Quirino Avenue in Barangay San Dionisio at around 9 a.m.

Frida is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by a Parañaque court for murder. The court refused to grant bail.

Meanwhile, the Western Visayas’ ninth most wanted fugitive was arrested in Marikina on Friday.

Mark Lowell Atienza, 35, the subject of an arrest warrant for murder, was apprehended in Barangay Sto. Nino at around 12:30 p.m., according to Quezon City Police District  director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III.

Torre did not give other details on the case Atienza is facing.
