San Juan starts ‘Kadiwa ng Pasko’ today
MANILA, Philippines — The San Juan City government will start its “Kadiwa ng Pasko” at the city hall atrium today.
The Kadiwa ng Pasko – a project of the Office of the President, Presidential Management Staff and the Department of Agriculture (DA) – is aimed at bringing cheap but high-quality goods to the public, farm-to-market style, and help address the price increases the Christmas season.
The program also seeks to promote the harvests of farmers and fisherfolk as well as the basic commodities of micro, small and medium enterprise owners.
“We are very supportive of efforts like this that aim to help our fellow Filipinos not just to recover from the pandemic and increase their income, but make cheaper options accessible for our people,” Zamora said.
Kadiwa ng Pasko will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
