BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Four persons were injured after a portion of the  Carlos P. Romulo bridge in  Barangay Wawa in Bayambang, Pangasinan collapsed at around 3:37 p.m. yesterday.

The four were passengers of two trucks.

The bridge connects Bayambang to Camiling town in Tarlac.

Bayambang Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao said the victims are now in stable condition in a hospital.

She gave assurance that the municipal government has coordinated with the Department of Public Works and Highway and other concerned agencies regarding the accident.

Quiambao advised motorists to take alternate routes for their safety.
